Community of Christ is an international, progressive Christian denomination with a presence in over 50 countries, dedicated to peace, social justice, and radical inclusion. To support its diverse, worldwide network, the organization needed a unified digital ecosystem where global leaders, pastors, and members could easily access, translate, and prepare localized scriptures and worship resources.
Because the platform would be managed internally by a non-technical content team, the system required a clean, highly accessible structure that removed technical barriers to publishing, ensuring faith materials could be updated and distributed seamlessly across international borders and multiple languages.
A simple, central hub where worship planners can find dates, readings, and resources. Designed to guide, support, and connect communities around the world.
Instead of organizing content by internal categories, the structure follows real user goals—creating a clear, intuitive path that reduces searching and supports worship planning at every stage.
A custom WordPress shortcode that renders the liturgical calendar dynamically on any page.

The calendar automatically starts on the current month, so the content is always up to date without any manual intervention from the team.
What this means in practice: The team simply places the shortcode on any page and the calendar handles the rest, always showing the right month, always current, zero maintenance.
With practical tutorials and guides, the client can manage updates safely, and feel comfortable doing it.
