Overview

About The Project

Harmony is an advocacy organization dedicated to breaking down barriers for Queer/2SLGBTQIA+ individuals within religion. For their Pride events, I designed a series of custom stickers that brought the campaign themes—”Find Hope Here” and “Thrive Anyway”—to life.

For Pride 2025 attendees, the stickers served as a visible sign of support and inclusion within a faith space. They gave people an easy way to express solidarity, spark meaningful conversations about inclusion, and take home a tangible reminder that Queer joy and resilience belong in the church. Every sticker purchased also helped raise funds for Harmony’s ongoing advocacy work.

My Approach

Challenging Tradition with
Intentional Sass

Faith-based messaging often defaults to passive or overtly cautious language when addressing inclusion. For the 2025 Pride sticker collection, the goal was to break away from safe corporate platitudes and bring a sharp, confident edge to the messaging.

I used a tone that was intentionally bold and slightly sassy to directly challenge rigid institutional traditions. Instead of asking for permission to belong, the designs assert presence, resilience, and unshakeable joy (“Thrive Anyway”). The goal was to give Queer attendees and allies a visual tool that felt modern, unapologetic, and empowering to carry on laptops, water bottles, and notebooks.
